The Silva Explore 3x headlamp is a fantastic outdoor light for the active lifestyler, whether you run, hike or bike. We’ve used mainly as a classic running head torch and always stays in position thanks to a rubber-coated headband, but it is versatile enough to be used as a helmet light or even strapped to a rucksack.
The USB charged head torch can be operated completely independent of the mains thanks to compact micro-batteries and dependent on light strength choice can provide up to 55 hours of permanent light. A coloured battery charge indicator LEDs show you the battery capacity. Simply insert the (rechargeable) batteries into the sealed housing to get started.
The Silva Explore 3x comes with all features for demanding training or races to ensure the best orientation in the dark. Apart from three different light modes for different terrain and a bright white flashing light, the headlamp comes with a permanent red light for improved night vision and visibility. There’s even an orange light integrated to enhance contrasts when reading a map. Yet, it is not only because of its high functionality that the Silva Explore 3x is perfectly suitable for outdoor use.
